The Martins Creek “Creekers” baseball club has the proud distinction of being the only remaining Charter Member of the Blue Mountain Baseball League.  The club has fielded a team in the league for a total of seventy years dating back to 1946.  The Creekers have won ( 7 ) BML titles, the most recent in 2017.  In 2010 the team surpassed the 1000 win mark as a franchise.  The Creekers are the sole member of this exclusive club.

The franchise was founded and sponsored during that entire time by Mr. O. R. Pacchioli (Patch).  He served as Manager of the team and President of the BML from 1965 – 1975 and was the founder and member of the BML “Hall of Fame”.

Up until his passing on January 22, 2019 at the age of 92, Patch was still on top of his game and didn’t miss a Creekers’ game home or away.  Martins Creek will continue to remain a fixture in the Blue Mountain League and offer one of the best destinations for local baseball on a summer day or night.
