About the Orioles

The Orioles franchise was founded in 1971 by Ron 'Punkin' Miller. 

 

Known as the Allentown Orioles from 1971-1977, Egypt Orioles from 1978-1981, Stroh's Orioles from 1982-1985, Banko's Orioles from 1986-2000, RCN Orioles in 2001, Polysteel Orioles in 2002, Starter's Pub Orioles from 2003-2004, Starters Orioles from 2005-2012, MetLife Orioles from 2013-2016, the Iron Financial Orioles from 2017-2019, the Keystone Precision Orioles in 2021, the Iron Valley Real Estate Orioles from 2022-2023, and now the 2024 and 2025 season the Jordan Athletic Club Orioles.

 

The team plays its home games at Simmons Field in Egypt Memorial Park. 

 

Following the end of the 2024 season, the Orioles overall regular season record stands at 1,141 victories, 608 defeats, and 14 ties.  Championship seasons include 1976, 1977, 1985, 1987, 1988, 2004, 2022, and 2023. 

 

The team also reached the finals in 1978, 1979, 1991, 1995, 2000, 2006, 2010, 2011, 2017, and 2024. 

 

Among the 214 members of the Blue Mountain League Hall of Fame, 38 donned an Orioles jersey at some point in their careers.  The following past team members have been further honored with the retirement of their numbers:
